Update on Brrezy:

Just a little update on Brrezy. As of 5/14/2016 she is still in the Jeep Hospital. After further investigating the body shop called in the service center. They found more damage underneath once beginning the work. She is still going to be repaired. They just have to start at the service center and move her to the collision center once they finish. We’re looking at another week and a half if everything goes smoothly. I have full confidence in Joe at Starr Motor’s Service Center and once he’s finished she will be turned over to Tommy at the Collision Center. I truly believe they will do great work on her and get Brrezy back to us. In the mean time I have a couple more places that I can post that still have Brrezy’s picture on the front. We haven’t visited any new locations since the accident.

One final plug for my update. I have been craving ribs since the accident. We finally went to Mission BBQ in Virginia Beach, VA today so I could take care of my craving. I ordered a full rack of their baby back ribs. With a cooler in the rental Jeep, I fully intended to bring some home with me. I ate every one of them. They were some of the best ribs I’ve had in a long time. I don’t know what may have been different this time but they were out of the park. In fact I didn’t want the cooler to go to waste so I ordered another rack to take home for tomorrow. Thank you all at Mission BBQ for a wonderful late lunch / early dinner. Everything was perfect.

There has been a bit of a setback on the BBQ Trail. Other than my wife, my second favorite travel companion is in the hospital. Yes, I’m talking about my Jeep, Brrezy.

Brrezy’s Side Damage

What Happened

We were in an accident Wednesday evening and it doesn’t look very good for her, Breezy not Tammy. Tammy was not with me at the time. The good news is that the other person involved and myself are ok. We were both banged up. I think he took even more of a hit than I did. I should find out Brrezy’s fate today after the insurance adjuster checks her out. Until then all I can do is wait it out and take the meds as prescribed. Hopefully they will be able to repair her. All in all, this may cause a delay in adding more reviews. I’ll have to see what happens. Please keep me and the other driver in your prayers and thoughts for a speedy recovery. I’ll post a pic of Brrezy but not his car. I think you’ll understand when you see Brrezy. Thanks and have a great day and weekend. Be careful out there.

Update

Well I received word from the insurance adjuster today about his assessment of Brrezy. She’s going to be OK. That is so awesome! Three days without her and I’m missing her pretty badly. Today would be “ride” day. But the good news is that she is in good hands. Looking at her pictures on this site you can probably figure out that I’m a fan of Starr Motors in Suffolk. She is in their hands and I’m confident that they will take great care of her.

Many thanks to my insurance company, Allstate, too. So far everything has been a smooth transaction.
