I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during this Coronavirus pandemic.
I’d imagine that just like us, you’re being flooded with information and tips to protect yourself as well as others. So I will keep this short. I just want to let you know how we are doing with all of this social distancing.
Just My Thoughts:
Well Tammy and I are taking this seriously. After seeing the interviews with some of the people going through this virus, I don’t want any parts of it. And having a wife with asthma I certainly don’t want to bring it home to her because of foolish behavior. Thus far I am still going to work every day. I’ll have to do that unless they shut the place down or I get sick.
However, our traveling has ceased for the time being. Thus there will be no new reviews until it is safe to travel around again. I do want to encourage you to support your local restaurants and businesses as much as you can while following your local guidelines and requirements. Many places are offering curbside pick-up now. This is a great way to help them through these trying times. One local BBQ restaurant even advertised having a tailgate party in their parking lot today. I hope it went well for them.
Just stay alert and aware of your surroundings. Be courteous to others out there. Remember that there are a lot of scared people around you. A little kindness and reassurance can mean a lot right now.
Final Thoughts:
I look forward to this all being behind us and getting on with our normal lives. I have been in a few places where I really felt uncomfortable and that’s all due to the uncertainty of what we are dealing with. More than ever, Home is my “Safe Place”.
I trust everyone weathers this storm and comes out a little better than before. Please remember your local businesses. But most of all, protect yourselves and your loved ones.
We will bring you more restaurants as soon as we can get back out there.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and our great nation.
God Bless You,
Patrick’s BBQ Trail
